Turning the Page: Book History as Information Literacy Instruction in a Digital Age (Part 2)

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

A librarian and a literature professor collaborated on a series of book history lessons that integrate information literacy concepts into liberal arts courses and address common challenges in students’ research skills in a digital environment. In this workshop we first briefly discuss our award-winning approach, and then it’s your turn! Come brainstorm with us how you can use analog media to engage students in critical thinking about concepts from the ACRL Framework. Exchange ideas with colleagues, and leave with a plan to implement this approach in your own professional context.
